Walnut Grandmother Clock

A walnut cased Westminster chime Grandmother clock in the 18th Century style dating to George VI period. It has a break arch hood, chamfered corners and a long door with a shaped plinth. The brass dial has a silvered chapter ring and a tempus fugit disc (Latin for Time Flies) within the arch and a chime/silent feature. The 8 day movement sounds the 1/4s and hours on chime bars, and was made by Smiths of Enfield.
