Small Scottish Mahogany Longcase Clock

A well proportioned mahogany longcase clock in a solid mahogany case. It has a swan neck pediment with a contrasting blind fret frieze. The arch dial is flanked by two reeded side pillars, and the glazed sides have rear frets. The arch top door has a boxwood line inlay as the base section. The silvered dial is hand engraved and signed by the maker William Hamilton of Whitburn. It has an 8 day hour bell striking movement.
