Small Oak Double Chime Longcase Clock

A small oak longcase clock, in the late 18th Century style, having an arch top case, glazed central door with a visible pendulum and brass cased weights. The brass dial has corner spandrels and a Tempus Fugit plaque within the arch. It has an Enfield 8 day three train movement that chimes on the quarters and hours on chime bars and sounds either Westminster or whittington chimes. There is a facility to silence the clock chimes and strike. c.1910-1920
