Small 19th Century Scottish oak Longcase Clock

A small, well proportioned light oak longcase clock. It has a low swan neck pediment, above a break arch glazed door, quartered side pillars and a long door. It has a floral enamel dial, original matching pierced brass hands with a subsidiary seconds and date dial and is signed by the maker William Reid of Biggar. It has an 8 day hour bell striking movement. William Otto Reid is listed as a maker born in 1820 and died in 1849.
