Scottish Mahogany Longcase Clock

A Regency period Scottish mahogany longcase clock. It has a typical West Coast of Scotland case, with a flat top, a 14 inch white enamel dial with reeded hood and trunk pillars and bracket feet. The dial has a subsidiary date and seconds dial and is signed by the maker William Walker of Barrhead. This clock has a very beautiful and unusual hand painted pendulum depicting a child playing with a toy. It has an 8 day bell striking movement that sounds the hours on a bell.
