An nice original solid oak country longcase clock of simple form. It has a flat top, hood side pillars and a long door. The 11 square dial has Arabic numerals and is signed by the maker Steadman of Godalming. It has a 30 hour duration moment that sounds the hours on a bell. Richard Stedman is listed as working 1828-39.
