A good quality Edwardian solid mahogany musical longcase clock. The case is in an 18th Century style, having a carved swan neck pediment with a central cartouche, reeded side columns, and a break arch hood with side windows. The long door has glazed astragal beading and bevel edge glass. The 8 day movement has a brass dial which has a tune selector for either Westminster, St. Michael or Whittington Chimes, together with a strike silent feature, a silvered chapter ring and brass spandrels. It has three brass weights , a wood rod and brass pendulum.Made by Hans Winterhalder of Wurtemburg and numbered
