Mahogany Double Fusee Dial Clock

A Mahogany double fusee striking dial clock dating to the mid 19th Century. It has a turned mahogany rim, a cast brass bezel with a bevel edge glass. The case has a domed top and base with brass side grills. The 8 day double fusee movement sounds the hours on a bell. The dial is signed by the maker Dobell of Hastings. Ebenezer Dobell is listed as working 1855-78.
