Convex Dial Fusee Wall Clock

A good quality early 19th century convex dial clock. It has a fine outer wooden surround and a cast brass bezel with a traditional pegged case. The 8 day fusee movement has an anchor escapement and stop work to prevent over winding. The dial is signed by the maker Russell of Norwich. Benjamin Russell is listed as a clockmaker working in Norwich 1830-1875.
