Oak Westminster Chiming Grandmother Clock

An attractive oak Grandmother clock, in a late 18th Century style. It has a break-arch top hood, with barleytwist side columns and a long beaded edge door,with a central motif. It has a silvered embossed dial and spandrels , with a Tempus Fugit disc within the arch. The 8 day Westminster chime (Big Ben) movement has a long brass bob pendulum and chimes the 1/4's, halves and hours and strikes the hours.(Germany, c. 1910 to c. 1920)
