A very rare large wall hanging Black Forest trumpeter clock. It has a fruitwood case with traditional applied carved vine leaves incorporating an integral bottom bracket. It has original finely carved bone hands and applied numerals. On the hour the double doors open to reveal a trumpeter who sounds a tune on an arrangement of four organ pipes. The two train weight driven movement is of wood construction with brass and iron wheels. Attributed to Emilian Werhle. If you would like a video clip of this clock sounding the hour please email us.
