Large Edwardian Striking and Repeating Carriage Clock

A large gilt brass carriage clock dating to the early 20th Century. It has having a gilded brass case, with reeded columns, top and base embossed gilt banded panels and corner finials. The dial has a engraved dial mask, with an enamel chapter ring. The 8 day movement has a lever platform and strikes the hours and halves on a gong and repeats the hour by depressing the repeater button located on top of the case.
