*French Striking Carriage Clock

A French brass gong striking carriage clock dating to the end of the 19th Century. It has a corniche case with an oval top window with a bevel edge glass, a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, signed by the original retailers Bonner & Co of Brighton.The 8 day movement sounds the hours on a gong. The clock bears the stamp for the makers Richard of Rue de Bondy 32, Paris.
