Late Georgian Mahogany Stick Barometer
REF: 238243
An early, original 19th Century mahogany mercury stick barometer. It has a traditional architectural pediment with a central brass finial. The hinge open top door has a silvered dial with an alcohol thermometer and is signed by the maker Peduzzi, of London. The case has traditional chevron veneer and boxwood stringing, terminating in a turned bulb base. M Peduzzi is listed as working in Leather lane, london 1815-35
