A colourful map of the Rive Thames estuary and the East Coast by Captain G Collin, 1693-1730. A magnificent decorative chart from the Humber estuary to the Kent coast. A detailed inset shows the Thames from Westminster to its mouth, wit Old father time resting the source of the river.Captain Collins was commissioned to priduce a survey of the coast and the Thames which he completed in 1693. The book was published and this map was one of the largest produced. This is an early edition copy and is a good clear example.
