Art Deco Terrestrial Globe

A 12 inch diameter terrestrial globe, dating to the late 1930s of a colourful appearance, and showing sea currents and shipping lanes. It shows Iran (changed from Persia in 1935, but does not show Pakistan or Israel), but is still showing Constantinople ( that changed in 1930 to Istanbul). It has a chrome plated meridian and a stepped turned beechwood base with an inset compass.
