An original mahogany cased convex fusee dial clock, dating to the first half of the 19th Century. It has a fine turned outer rim with a cast brass bezel with convex glass. The case is of standard pegged construction with a side and base door. It has a convex dial signed by the maker Baines of Chelmsford.(Benjamin Baines is listed as a maker pre-1849) It has an 8 day fusee movement.
