A good sized French bell striking mantel clock, that has a waisted shape case, with a tortoiseshell  inlaid with engraved brass.The embossed brass dial is behind a convex glass and has enamel numeral plaques It has an 8 day, hour and half hour bell striking movement made by Japy Frere.
