French Ormolu and Porcelain Panel Mantel Clock

A very attractive French mantel clock, dating to the last quarter of the 19th Century. The gilt ormolu case is mounted with classical masks and acanthus swags. It has a hand decorated porcelain panel . The dial is signed by the original retailer John Hall & Co Manchester with an 8 day bell striking movement was made by Japy Frere.
