Striking Silver Plated Carriage Clock

A late 19th Century large carriage clock. It has a reeded and shaped top handle, a beaded bezel with a convex bevel glass and small bracket feet. The enamel dial has hand painted floral garlands and ornate pierced and engraved hands. The 8 day lever platform movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong

- Condition The case has been recently silver plated, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. There is a small mark on the dial ti the left of the 45 minute marker, but this is not visible when the glass door is closed.
