Large French Striking and Repeating Carriage Clock

A decorative brass carriage clock dating to the late Victorian/Edwardian period. It has an embossed gadrooned case with an ornate carrying handle, a gilt dial mask and a hand decorated floral enamel dial with unusual hands. The top of the case has a repeater button to sound the last hour at will, the 8 day movement has its original lever platform and sounds the hours and halves On a gong.
