An attractive French brass striking and repeating carriage clock. It has an Anglaise case, with a ribbed handle and a matching top and bottom frieze. It has an oval top window a gilt dial mask and an enamel dial with blue numerals. The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong and repeats the hours by depressing the repeater button. It has its original lever platform. It comes with an double ended original carriage clock key.
