*Victorian Burr Walnut Bell Striking Mantel Clock

An early-Victorian mantel with stunning burr walnut veneers. The rectangular case has step front moldings and canted corners with carved details. It has a white enamel dial signed by the original retailer/maker James and Walter Marshall of Edinburgh which has a thick bevel edge glass. The French made 8 day pendulum movement strikes the hours and halves on a bell.
