A large, impressive French brass cased four glass clock. It has a traditional two door case that has bevel edge glass all around, a two piece enamel dial with an ornate cast bezel, with a visible Brocot escapement, and is signed by the original retailer from Paris, Paul Frogere. It has a compensating mercury filled pendulum. The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong.
