Small Mahogany Bracket Clock

A small, late 18th Century style timepice bracket clock. It has a mahogany break arch case with a brass carrying handle, brass edges and brass ogee bracket feet. The bevel edge glass has a heavy brass bezel, enclosing a convex enamel dial, marked Tempus Fugit (Latin for Time Flies). The 8 day movement has a lever platform. This contains a retailers label for Percy Webster, who was an important horological dealer in the early 20th Century.
