Small Edwardian Mahogany Mantel Clock

A small, mahogany mantel clock, with attractive applied carving in the form of acanthus leaves and ribbons and swags. It has a bevel edge convex glass, an enamel chapter ring, signed by the retailer Mappin and Webb and a silvered engine turned centre. The French 8 day movement strikes the hour and halves on a gong. It is stamped GB &E
