Small Burr Walnut Moonphase Bracket Clock
REF: 181041
A delightful small scale bracket clock, made in the English 18th Century style. It has a burr walnut case with a break arch pad top and brass carrying handle. The corners are mounted by brass pineapples, the sides by brass caryatids and ogee bracket feet. The dial has brass spandrels and a silvered chapter ring and a well painted rotating lunar disc within the arch. It bears a name plaque Rob Wood , London who probably was the original retailer. The 8 day pendulum movement strikies the hours and halves on a bell.
