Regency Arch Top Mahogany Bracket Clock

An early 19th Century Regency mahogany bracket clock, with brass inlay. The arch top case has a figure mahogany front panel with inlaid brass, the sides have brass loop handles and fish scale fret sides with red silk set behind and adjustable brass ball feet. The brass bezel has a convex glass and the painted enamel convex dial is signed by the maker Hooker of Lewes, Sussex. It has an 8 day twin fusee movement that strikes the hours on a bell. William Hooker is listed as a maker 1803-1832
