Oak Lancet Top Striking Mantel Clock

An Edwardian, solid oak mantel clock, having a lancet top case, canted and reeded corners, and brass ball feet. The enamel dial has a brass bezel with a bevel edge glass, and is signed by the original retailers, Mappin and Webb of London. It has a French 8 day movement that sounds the hours and halves on a gong that was made by Samuel Marti of Paris.
