A mid 19th Century Mantel clock made for the UK market. It has a swept Napoleon hat shaped case, with a 6 inch diameter dial with a brass bezel and a convex glass. It has an 8 day spring driven movement that sounds the hours on a bell. The rear of the case is stamped with a crown date mark for April 1855.
