Mahogany Lancet Top Striking Mantel Clock

A good quality solid mahogany mantel clock dating to the end of the 19th Century. It has a Gothic arch lancet top, with fine boxwood stringing, brass loop handles and brass ogee bracket feet. It has a bevel edge convex glass and an enamel dial with fine Roman numerals. The 8 day movement has a lever platform (pendulum is not required) that strikes the hours and halves on a gong and was made by Vincenti.
