A golden oak mantel clock, dating to the mid Victorian period, c. 1850. It has a flat top case of simple form, a plain brass bezel with a bevel edge glass and a 4 inch enamel dial. The French made 8 day timepiece movement is stamped AF.
This is the stamp for Arnold and Frodsham, makers to Queen Victoria.
