A fine and impressive gilt ormolu mantel clock in the Louis XVI style. It has a case embellished with floral and acanthus swags, urns with feather plumes and nesting birds. The case is inset with hand enamelled porcelain panels. The white enamel dial is signed by the Makers,Le Roy & Fils (Sons of Le Roy) It has an 8 day bell striking pendulum movement and is numbered and signed 6750 Le Roy & Fil.
