French Gilt Brass Mantel Clock

A French mid 19th Century gilt brass mantel clock in the Louis XV style. It has a Rococo case embossed with acanthus leaves and scrolls. It has a convex glass and a cream enamel dial with tasteful blue numbering. The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a bell and was made by Japy Frere.
