An impressive French mantel clock, made in the Louis XIVth style, dating to the mid 19th Century. It has an ormolu mounted figure to the top , glass sides and brass and tortoiseshell marquetry panels with enamel highlights. The front glazed door is embossed with a cupid, behind is the brass dial with enamel numerals and it is embossed with the makers name Bon a Paris. It has an 8 day pendulum movement that strikes the hours and halves on a bell..
