Edwardian Mahogany Striking Mantel Clock

A mahogany mantel clock in the style of an English bracket clock,dating to the Edwardian period circa 1910. It has a dome top with a brass carrying handle. The front panel has boxwood stringing and a convex glass with a silvered engine turned dial. It stands on brass bun feet. The French made 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong and was made by Samuel Marti of Paris.
