Edwardian Mahogany and Inlay Striking Mantel Clock

An attractive dome topped French mantel clock. It has a solid mahogany case with boxwood stringing and inlay in the form of a laurel garland. It has an attractive beaded bezel with a bevel edge convex glass, a white enamel dial with hand decorated floral and fancy pierced brass hands. The 8 day movement sounds the hours and halves on a gong and was made by Japy Frere.
