Edwardian Mahogany and Inlay Bracket Clock

A well proportioned Edwardian bracket clock, in the style of an early 19th Century clock. The break arch top has a brass carrying handle, flanked by two brass finials. The front has inset figure mahogany panels, with boxwood stringing, and canted corners with brass inlay, fret sides with silk and brass ogee bracket feet. It has a convex glass and dial and a white enamel dial. The French 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong and was made by Samuel Marti of Paris.
