Burr Walnut Four Glass Library Timepiece Bracket Clock

REF: 271762

Sold

A fine, small, mid 19th Century burr walnut mantel clock. The rectangular case has a dental top molding, a square dial, and an ogee base with block feet. The silvered dial is engraved with stylised Roman Gothic numerals. It has a very fine 8 day fusee movement with a holdfast to secure the pendulum during transportation. This clock would have been made for a gentlemans library and is just a timepiece that does not strike.
