A George V period burr walnut 18th Century style English bracket clock with Westminster (Big Ben) chimes. This is a very well proportioned and good quality bracket clock in the 18th Century style, made by Garrard, who are still trading today and are Jewellers to HRH Price of Wales. The figured burr walnut case has an inverted caddy top, with a brass carrying handle, a break arched dial and glass side panels. The dial is silvered, with aged brass spandrels. It also has a strike/silent lever. The 8 day pendulum movement chimes the 1/4s and hours on four chime bars.
